The Omaha Bryan Bears played host to the district A-6 championship game on Monday, February 26, 2018, against Bellevue East. Behind Tre Crawford's 23 points, the Bears held off the Chieftains by a score of 70-52. Austin Slie closed out his Bellevue East career with a team high 15 points. Keelyn Moses complimented Crawford with 14 points of his own. Bryan coach Terrence O'Donnell was more than happy about the Bears' first trip to Lincoln since 2012.

"As a coach, as a player, as an assistant coach, I've never been around a group of kids like this," O'Donnell said. "They've faced adversity, they've come together, and they've come out on top."
