Monstrous Second Half Paves Path for Packers Win

The Omaha South Packers hosted the Omaha North Vikings on Saturday, February 3, 2018 in a late afternoon showdown. Despite a 12 point halftime deficit, and behind senior guard Tyreek Crawford's 29 points, the Packers took home a 70-64 win.
Because South couldn't buy a bucket in the first half, Bruce Chubick made his adjustments and the Packers won the second half by a 44-26 score. South shot 23-for-59 (39%) from the field, but they picked up points by going 21-for-28 (78%) from the free throw line. Saunders added 17, and Anderson had 15 in the win.
Omaha South will return to action on Friday, February 9, 2018 when they visit rival Omaha Bryan. The Vikings return Tuesday, February 6, 2018 when they host Omaha Central.
