Williams Has Huge Day as Navigators Steer Clear of Chieftains

The Bellevue East Chieftains played host to Donovan Williams and the

Lincoln North Star Navigators on Saturday, February 3rd, 2018. Behind Williams's 23 points and the team shooting 26-for-28 from the free throw line, the Navigators escaped with a 56-51 victory over Bellevue East. Alexander Goal added 14 to the scoreboard for Lincoln North Star.

In the loss, the Chieftains shot 18-for-38 (47%) from the field, and they were led by sophomore guard Joey Skoff, who put 13 points on the scoreboard. Austin Slie and Hunter Mengel added 12, and Fred Knotts had ten to help their team.

The Chieftains, who now own an 8-10 record, return to action on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at 7:15 p.m.
