Skoff Leads Way in Big Chieftain Win

The Bellevue East varsity basketball team played host to the Papillion-La Vista South Titans on Friday, January 5, 2018. Led by 17 points from

sophomore Joey Skoff and 16-for-20 shooting from the free throw line, the Chieftains surpassed Tuach Dol, who had 19 for the Titans, and Co. by a 70-64 score. Head Coach Chad Mustard was pleased with the win.

"It was a tough game. They had a lot of length and altered some shots for us, but we stuck with it," Mustard said.

The Chieftains return to action on Friday, January12, 2018, at 7 p.m. at Bellevue West. Meanwhile, the Titans will return on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 7:15 p.m. when they host the Papillion-La Vista Monarchs.
